What is the db joist strip?
dB Joist Strip has been designed as an economical acoustic layer to be used on top of joists or under timber floors.
It is a thin solution that is simply stapled to the top of the joists to reduce impact sound transmission through timber internal floors.
Please consult the dB Joist Strip for full installation & performance information.
Dimensions: 50mm x 10mm x 1370mm. This will compress to 8mm in use.
To be used with dB Slab 100 and a suitable acoustic ceiling system to achieve floor regulations of Document E.
