Acoustic panels can be made of many different materials including foam, timber, PET plastic, mineral and earth wool and many more. Our most common panel used in Restaurants is a fabric wrapped Class A foam.
Acoustic absorption panels are often installed in restaurants and bars retrospectively once the noise issue has been identified. Often the circular panels in different diameters can work well in this situation due to not being able to get a uniform design with square or rectangular panels.
Wall space can also be utiilised to install absorption panels. Even areas where you wouldn’t notice the acoustic foam can be used such as under the table surfaces.
